Our Fast Track Leadership (FTL) programme turns talented graduates into future leaders of the business. The FTL not only reveals the skills behind brewing and selling our beers, but also examines how many areas of our business are vital to the success of our products. In 12 months, you can become a team leader or develop your technical skills to shape our organization’s future.

What is it?

The programme is made up of two six-month rotations based in Prague. If you successfully complete both, you could climb straight to the top, leading your own team or process in our business. After a short induction to the world of AB InBev, you'll get straight into your first placement. You could join one of the following branches in our Solutions function:

  • Customer and Consumer Experience – Delivering indispensable and delightful customer and consumer experience, driving our top line growth through digital transformation, capability building and fanatic brand ambassadorship of our teams.
  • IT User Experience – transforming end user IT at AB InBev from a service to an experience, delivered through our in-house IT service desk, on-site support and IT workplace services, and designed to be flexible to support AB InBev technology evolution.
  • New Tech and Analytics – working with a dynamic team of automation developers and software engineers, who are implementing artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural learning processing, optical character recognition, robotics and VBA solutions for Europe with a goal to automate and transform our processes from within.
  • Logistics Team – working with our local sales and supply teams on ensuring that our beer reaches our customers in Europe and across the globe on time and in the most efficient way, or managing the export and import of our beers across the world.
  • Sales Finance Team – playing a crucial role in liaising with customers and sales teams to manage overdues and commercial losses.
  • Procure To Pay Finance Team – playing a crucial role in paying our vendors on time and manage vendor satisfaction in collaboration with procurement and our Global Capabilities center.
  • People Business Services Team – collaborating with our local HR teams and our Center of Excellence team in Leuven on managing the employee experience by providing internal communication, people cycle and talent management services to our employees.

In addition to your day-to-day role in the business, we'll also give you the opportunity to shine by taking on transformational projects and presenting your solutions to senior leadership.

During the programme, you will participate in various leadership training sessions to give you the skills to be the leaders of the future. After your first leadership experience, you will have the opportunity to fast-track your career further in Europe or beyond. You will also have the opportunity to positively impact your environment by creating your own projects to support our Better World activities.

You will be based in the vibrant city of Prague (Czech Republic), you'll learn fast, work hard, have fun and in just 12 months you could be leading a team of your own for another year.

You're not afraid to be hands-on to get the job done, you’ll take ownership of your projects from day one, and you’ll meet ambitious targets.

An advanced level of English is essential, together with an upper-intermediate level of either Dutch, French, German, Italian or Spanish. The FTL programme is based in Prague, Czech Republic and when vacancies are open, you can apply for it right here.

Our selection process is designed to make sure you’re the right fit for our programme but more importantly, we are the right fit for you. 

Here’s what you can expect: 

Step 1. Online Application
Apply online. But make sure you get your application in as early as you can because once the places are filled, we don’t accept any more applicants. 

Step 2. Gamified Assessment
If your application is successful, you’ll then do an online assessment that helps us understand you and helps us to assess how you’ll fit within our teams and company.   

Step 3. Video Interview
If you’re a great fit, you’ll then participate in an video video interview, where we can get to know you and your desire for the programme a bit better.   

Step 4. The Virtual ABI Day-Assessment Centre
It’s time to meet you. This day is a mix of a face-to-face interview, group exercises and work situational insights. You'll also meet some current AB InBev employees, so you can find out more about the role and company culture.

Step 5. Panel Interview
If you’ve wowed us so far, you’ll be invited to your final group interview with three to six other panel members, plus the most senior leaders at the organisation. 

Step 6. Offer
If we’re the right fit for each other, we will then make you an offer and your journey with us begins.
